Ertl Amputation Day 3 Part II

Part one of today is here.

Carol was in good spirits when we arrived. She said she was really hot overnight, but not in any real pain. Her fever was down to 99.8 when we got to the hospital. Around 1pm it spiked back up to 102 and they gave her additional doses of stronger antibiotics.

As of 2:30 her fever was still hovering at the 101 range. She has been sleeping for over an hour now and is at least relaxed. She did get up and got dressed into some of her own clothes which she really wanted to do.

Beyond that we are just waiting.
